Ok - we have one little technical hitch!

Hi all, I'm back from the dead!! Hehehe!!
No not really we've been sooo busy on the site and finalising arrangements, but of course - you have to have one last technical hitch before opening - Shipping!! Oh well, it's being ironed out as speak and yes we are excited!!

The website is almost ready!

We've been working so hard on the bloomroom website lately, new photos, updated design and extra arrangements. We are photographing a Candy Buffet Table this weekend, as we are selling the Apothecary Jars on our site as a wedding accessory. It's going to be so gorgeous - some friends - Sam from Sam's Cupcakery (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Sams-Cupcakery/229310195890) and Joady from Three Sweet Petites ( http://www.facebook.com/#!/ThreeSweetPetites), are making cupcakes and macaroons, which will 'look' and TASTE fantastic!!...can't wait to post the photos.

the bloomroom gets a make over!

I haven't posted for awhile, sorry about that. I've been busy creating a large range of Bridal Bouquets for our website which will go online soon (watch this space). I've also been creating some lovely arrangements for your Home or Office - the trouble is that I do love them all - and I am always tempted to keep them for me!! Hehehe!!

I've been to Melbourne recently for a girls weekend away, I went with my 2 Daughters, my Sister and my Mum. We stayed just behind the Crown Casino in a nice apartment and shopped until we dropped!! had a great time and bought some great bargains. I love Melbourne - the public transport is fantastic and the locals are so friendly and helpful.

I've also been busy revamping the bloomroom HQ. My eldest daughter - Hollie has moved out and I have taken over her room for my new and improved HQ. I love the feel of the room - it's bright, clean and fresh with lovely views over the backyard, which is a cottage garden - so I'm surrounded by flowers...Perfect!!

Hi and welcome to the bloomroom

At last... I have realised a dream! 15 years ago I completed my training to become a florist! and today I am putting the final touches onto my online artificial flower business. Photos are being taken, stock has been ordered and turned into amazing bouquets, buttonholes, arrangements and corsages. I also have a few suprises for my clients as far as wedding accessories go! This has certainly been a labour of love, I've been arranging flowers on and off for the last 15 years but suddenly..a few months ago something clicked in me and I decided it was time to pursue my passion and put my designs out there and see how I go!

I'm so excited!!

I'm really impressed with the quality of the artificial flowers available today (that probably has a lot to do with my decision) I love it when someone walks over to my arrangements and they proceed to smell the flowers...'fantastic' - job done!! My mission is to make every design look real and in this I will use assorted fillers, berries, buds, thistles, leaves, vine, twig, sticks and fern to achieve this. I feel I need to break the boundaries surrounding artificial flower arranging...no Ho Hum arrangements allowed!! You certainly will not find them on our website!!
